The intense rivalry between these two teams moved to Lahore. When the two teams met here in the longer version of the game, the pitch resembled a graveyard for the bowlers. More of the same was expected for today's 3rd odi.

India begun the chase in the worst possible fashion,as they lost two quickfire wickets. Tendulkar showed flashes of coming back into form and Yuvraj Singh supported him brilliantly. But he was dismissed once more by medium pacer Abdur Razzaq. Razzaq has now dismissed the little master 6 times. Kaif was dismissed without troubling the scorers. That left India at 190-5.Enter Mahindra Singh Dhoni. He played one of the best offensive innings ever. He smashed a brilliant 72* of only 46 balls. He was severe on all the bowlers,specially Rana Naved as he scored 15 of a single over of his. Yuvraj played sensibly and both of them guided India to a memorable victory at Lahore.
